Pick your vertical

Choose the kind of business you run — barbershop, salon, massage, tattoo, yoga, pet grooming, or one of 15 other verticals. Each vertical comes pre-configured with the categories, terminology, and workflows your industry actually uses.

A barbershop doesn't need "massage rooms". A flower shop uses "bouquets", not "services". SYLAR is built around these distinctions.

Enter your business name

Your brand name becomes the title of your profile inside SYLAR. Everything else is pre-filled with sensible defaults: your business is instantly a working draft you could show a client in 30 seconds.

The generated spec includes services, staff roles, a sample schedule, and a landing page layout — all editable.

Upload your logo, fine-tune your services and prices, add real staff members with their schedules, and upload a few portfolio photos. The app takes your brand and makes it feel yours.

What new SYLAR users most often want to know.

Do I need to submit anything to the App Store?
No. SYLAR itself is the app — you don't publish your own app. When you go live, your business appears inside SYLAR and on the Discovery map. Clients download one app (SYLAR) and find you there.
Can I import clients from another platform?
Yes — CSV import for your client list. Services, staff, and schedule are re-created in SYLAR (usually 15-30 minutes for a small business). We'll help if you email [email protected].
What if my vertical isn't listed?
We currently support 21 verticals and add new ones based on demand. If yours isn't there, email [email protected] with details — we're actively adding verticals.
Can clients book without registering?
They need to register once (takes 20 seconds via Apple / Google / email) — otherwise push notifications for confirmations and reminders would fail. Once registered, future bookings are one-tap.
Do I need to download anything?
Install SYLAR from the App Store or Google Play, create a business account, and everything runs on your phone. No desktop software, no web dashboard to learn.
How long does setup actually take?
First version live in ~10 minutes if you just want defaults. A polished profile with logo, prices, photos, and 2-3 staff members takes 30-45 minutes.
